IT'S A MONKEY

I joined the "Monkey Sock" bandwagon. If you know anything about me you'll know that I used the yarn called for
in the pattern. Shelridge Farm Soft Touch Ultra Fingering Weight yarn.
I found it to be easy to knit with, and i liked the way it feels.

I was so excited when I saw them at Stitches Midwest, they seemed to be real nice people and I was
glad to buy directly from them. All the colors were so yummy looking.
This pair of "Monkey Socks" is for my daughter-in-laws mother for Christmas.
Lisa, my daughter-in-law, was so impressed with all the socks
that I made for myself, she couldn't resist wanting a pair.
Being the wonderful person that she is, she wanted a pair for her mother.
Lisa's mother doesn't read my Blog so I know I am safe in posting it.
So now on to one of my many other projects already in progess, but which one?
Happy Knitting!!!

Wow, great monkeys! Love the color. You are making me consider these again - I was about to cast on for Rosa, but I keep hearing such great things about the Monkeys...decisions, decisions :)

Your "Monkeys" are beautiful in red, my favorite color. I've already knit 2 pair of Monkeys because it is such a nice pattern. Cookie A's patterns are some of my favorites.

Isn't that a fun pattern! If you are going to get into lacey socks - another great one is "Embossed Leaves" from Interweave Knitts - it's in the Favorite book.

Your Monkeys are beautiful, and I am sure the recipient will be thrilled with them!
